By Donna DiMichele | May 10, 2012
The Library of Congress Digital Preservation section provides guidance for and resources about hosting a Personal Digital Archiving Day. The web site covers how to plan, organize, publicize, and run an event for the general public that can provide information about preserving digital files, photos, videos, e-mails, and social media accounts. It also contains a sample event planning checklist, templates for flyers, posters and press releases, evaluation forms, handouts, tip sheets, readings, and demonstration videos.
