Present at NAHSL Conference in Providence
By Donna DiMichele | August 11, 2015
The Program Planning Committee for North Atlantic Health Sciences Libraries (NAHSL) 2015 in Providence, RI is now accepting proposals for contributed papers, posters, and lightning round presentations to be given during the afternoon and evening of Monday, October 18.
You don’t need to be a NAHSL member to participate! And public and academic librarians are encouraged to attend and share. This is a great opportunity to get out of the box and see what is happening in different types of libraries.
NAHSL members and conference attendees often express that one of the greatest benefits to attending an Annual Meeting is the chance to hear about and share with colleagues the interesting projects, ideas, successes, failures they’ve experienced over the past year in their respective work places. While the plenary speakers usually provide inspiring, “big picture” views, it’s more often than not the content shared by the attendees during these sessions that prove invaluable.
Please consider sharing your time, talent, experience, and expertise with your colleagues at this year’s conference. Your contributions make the meeting!
