CDC Adds Resources in More Languages
By Donna DiMichele | December 13, 2019
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced that a new multilingual webpage was recently posted to highlight CDC content for languages other than English and Spanish.
The new page indexes CDC information in languages other than English and Spanish in one place. Previously searchers had to search across an array of pages and sites to find information in other languages. The new page contains more than 1000 (and counting) products and pages across 60 different languages, searchable by topic or language.
Topics include emergency preparedness and response, diseases and conditions, data and statistics, environmental health, healthy living, injury, violence and safety, life stages and populations, travelers’ health, and workplace safety and health among others.
The information comes in various formats available for sharing and downloading. All the resources are free to print and share. Additional resources will be added periodically, so please visit often. For information in Spanish only, visit CDC en Español.
