United Way 2-1-1 Helps Everyone
By admin | February 9, 2015
Wednesday, February 11 is 2-1-1 Day, and United Way 2-1-1 will be celebrated at the State House. Check out the article in the February 8 Providence Journal spotlighting the great work United Way 2-1-1 does to help Rhode Islanders get the information they need, when they need it, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 2-1-1 is a great resource to help people deal with a problem or crisis, or explore options. If you need information to promote 2-1-1 in your library, check out the 2-1-1 Toolkit.
The Office of Library and Information Services is a proud supporter of United Way 2-1-1 and has served on the Advisory Committee since 2-1-1 launched in Rhode Island. United Way 2-1-1 Program Director Cristina Amedeo is a member of the Library Board of Rhode Island.
