AS220 Hosts Mini Maker Faire

The 6th annual Rhode Island Mini Maker Faire is happening on Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 11am to 6pm at multiple locations in downtown Providence. Sponsored by AS220 and Revolution x Design, the Rhode Island Mini Maker Faire is a celebration of New Englanders’ do-it-yourself ingenuity and innovation.
Maker Faire is billed as the “Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth” — a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker movement. At the Faire, people show what they are making, and share what they are learning. It features hands-on making, building and hacking, crafting, garage technology, arts and creativity for sale, and robots. AS220 is creating a community of builders, inventors, and designers in Rhode Island, so let’s add libraries to the mix!
