Directors appointed in Westerly, Providence

The new year will bring two new directors to Rhode Island libraries:
Brigitte Hopkins, currently director at West Warwick Public Library, has been appointed as the new Executive Director of the Memorial and Library Association of Westerly. Brigitte will start at Westerly on January 20.
Jack Martin, previously the Assistant Director for Public Programs and Lifelong Learning at the New York Public Library, is the new Executive Director of the Providence Public Library. Jack will start work in Providence on January 13.
