RI public libraries are cool
By admin | June 25, 2013
Literally. During this first heat wave of the summer, 26 of the 39 cooling centers listed in a Providence Journal article on June 24 are public libraries. If your library building is acting as a cooling center this summer and you’re not already on the list, please send information directly to Annemarie Beardsworth at the RI Emergency Management Agency.
Just one more way to show people how cool libraries are! And important to their communities.
