Engaging Stakeholders & Creating a Digitally Inclusive Community
By karen | April 8, 2013
Broadband RI’s Stuart Freiman and OLIS’ Howard Boksenbaum will be featured in a national WebJunction Webinar on April 13 at 1 pm. The session focuses on Rhode Island’s digital inclusion stakeholder engagement process. The discussion includes why Broadband Rhode Island (BBRI) decided it was important to create a process of engaging stakeholders in order to discuss technology access and use. Key collaborators, such as OLIS and Pam Christman, formerly of OSHEAN, will explain their involvement, how various sectors were engaged, the impact of NTIA funded projects upon the stakeholder engagement process, and how policy recommendations were created and prioritized.
