RICH Fall Grant Cycle

By Donna DiMichele | June 19, 2013

Rhode Island Council for the Humanities (RICH) Fall Grant Cycle

In 2013, the the RI Council for the Humanities awarded a total of $216,500 to 38 public humanities projects throughout Rhode Island. Projects included a wide range of topics and formats: from a documentary film on Slatersville: America’s First Mill Village, to Rhody Ramble summer events for families at historic sites across the state, to a blog exploring Rhode Island’s 1663 Charter and its legacies.

The next available grant opportunities and deadlines are coming up Fall 2013:

The Major Grant Program for requests over $2,000 has a registration deadline on September 1, 2013 and a final application deadline on October 15, 2013.  Projects must begin after January 1, 2014.  Please note: there will only be one major grant cycle in the fall this year; RICH will not hold a 2014 spring cycle.

The monthly Mini Grant Program for requests up to $2,000 will re-open with an October 1, 2013 deadline for projects that begin after November 15, 2013.

To learn more about these grant opportunities, please consider attending one of the workshops listed below.
